Abstract

This study aims to design the UI/UX of the CipandanwangiVillage Administrative Service Application using the Design Thinking method to improve the effectiveness and accessibility of public services. The research begins with an empathize stage through observations and interviews with village officers and residents to identify current service problems, including lengthy processing times, lack of structured information, and manual data recording. The define stage formulates user needs and service priorities, followed by the ideate stage to generate design alternatives through brainstorming and user flow development. A prototype of the application interface was created using wireframes and high-fidelity designs that include a homepage, service selection menu, digital form submission, and service status tracking. Usability testing was conducted with potential users to gather feedback on navigation clarity, visual consistency, and overall ease of use. The results show that the Design Thinking approach effectively supports the creation of a user-centered interface that aligns with the needs of both village officers and the community. The designed UI/UX improves service clarity, reduces information gaps, and provides a more efficient digital experience for administrative service processes.
